About the Role

:

● The Assistant Branch Manager/Branch Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability of the Branch on a sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan. The incumbent will report to the Regional Manager / General Manager PSD. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

● Developing and implementing sales strategies for increase of market share and profitability on a sustainable basis in line with Annual Business Plan (ABP).

● To direct the branch team and establish sales targets brand wise, pack wise as per ABP, help them in breaking the same geographically, monthly, weekly & daily targets.

● To motivate & direct sales teams to meet sales targets & agreed KPIs.

● To plan and implement branch sales promotion in consultation with marketing.

● Help in implementing a long term pricing strategy to maximize variable margin through product/ territory/ pack mix decisions.

● Have a clear focus on new channels like Institutions and Direct Distribution, Visibility and volumes.

● Drive Branch sales by developing field sales action plans

Key Result Areas:

● To achieve monthly Revenue, Collection & Profit targets

● Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue

● Track, collate and interpret sales figures

● Generate timely sales reports

● Effectively execute sales policies and procedures

● Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis

● Build and promote strong and long-lasting relationships with customers by partnering with

them and understanding their needs

● Recruit, Develop & retain quality manpower

● Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively

● Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

● Strong business sense

● Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

● Successful experience in consistently meeting or exceeding targets

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

● Bachelor’s Degree (or its equivalent) in a related area and at least 3-5 years of managerial experience

● Should be an excellent individual performer with prior experience of team handling
