Our Opportunity

Here’s your chance to step into a leadership role at our Helensvale dental centre, a modern 7-chair practice with a welcoming and collaborative team culture.

As Assistant Centre Leader/Senior Dental Assistant you’ll work closely with the Centre Leader to support the smooth day-to-day running of the centre while remaining hands-on across chairside assisting, reception, and sterilisation. This role is ideal for an experienced Dental Assistant ready to take the next step in their career and grow their leadership capability.

What you’ll be doing

Supporting the Centre Leader and team to ensure efficient, high-quality operations, including:

  • Team leadership: Train, guide and motivate the Dental Assistant team

  • Rostering: Assist with staff scheduling to meet centre needs

  • Stock control: Support ordering and stock management within budget

  • Reporting: Assist with financial tasks and daily reconciliations

  • Patient experience: Deliver warm, professional and patient-focused care

  • Clinical compliance: Maintain high standards in line with policies and regulations

You’ll be a key support person in the centre — leading by example and helping create a positive experience for both patients and team members.

About you

You’re an energetic, reliable and people-focused professional who enjoys supporting others and taking ownership of your work. You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in the dental industry (leadership exposure ideal)

  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent experience)

  • Confidence supporting, motivating and guiding a team

  • A hands-on mindset — happy to jump in wherever needed

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • A commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
