Assistant Concrete Laboratory Technician (Fresh Concrete)

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Assistant Laboratory Technician to support our site operations. You will be responsible for sampling, testing, and transportation of fresh concrete specimens. This is a vital role in maintaining the quality and integrity of the samples.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• On‑Site Assistance: Support the Senior Technician in collecting fresh concrete samples from mixers according to ASTM/BS or BSEN methods.
• Workability Testing: Prepare equipment and assist in performing Slump Tests and Temperature Checks for every batch.
• Molding & Casting: Help cast concrete cubes and cylinders; ensure molds are cleaned, oiled, and properly assembled before use.
• Specimen Management: Safely transport heavy concrete specimens from the site to the curing tanks.
• Curing Tank Maintenance: Ensure curing tanks are filled, clean, and maintained at the required temperature of 22°C to 25°C.
