Assistant Conservation Ranger

JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this classification is to provide responsible professional land use work involving the execution of land use programs and activities on District properties. The work for this classification involves responsibility for maintaining and executing activities with recreational facility users, special interest groups, land owners, regulatory agencies, town officials and the general public on matters such as District land usage, watershed usage and water conservation. Executes activities involving the operation and maintenance of MDC programs and facilities. This work requires that the employee have knowledge, skill and ability in land use, recreation, and watershed conservation administration.
