Assistant Controller

Overview

The Assistant Controller – Financial Reporting is critical to the Global Accounting Function of WernerCo. This position is responsible for external global financial reporting, audit support, accounting policy, and other related functions. The Assistant Controller – Financial Reporting will report to the Global Accounting Controller and has direct reports. This position may be based in Itasca, IL (Chicago area), West Middlesex, PA or Mooresville, NC (Charlotte area).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring they comply with accounting standards and regulations
• Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, including government filings
• Lead external global and statutory audit engagements
