About the Role
I'm seeking a highly motivated and talented Assistant Development Manager to join an established team. You will play a crucial part in advancing renewable energy projects (Wind/PV/BESS) through the approvals process, up to financial close. Any renewable experience is valued, although not essential if you possess excellent communication skills and a willingness to exceed in project development.

Responsibilities
- Support the Development team throughout the planning and development phases; site identification, environmental approvals, grid connection etc.
- Assist in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project potential.
- Manage and organize project documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement and community outreach efforts.
- Analyze project financial models and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science, Business).
- At least 2-3+ years of experience in relatable experience (renewable energy, infrastructure, property, environmental etc)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a range of stakeholder
- Commercial acumen
- Willingness to travel
- Based in Sydney
