Job Description
Role summary The Assistant Doctor will work closely with the Medical Director to deliver highquality, protocoldriven care for sports medicine and metabolic health clients in an outpatient clinical setting. The role combines clinical assessment, lifestyle prescription, program orientation, and ongoing patient coordination to ensure seamless implementation of the care plan. Key responsibilities Conduct detailed medical screening: take comprehensive history, review past investigations, and suggest new investigations for discussion and approval with the Medical Director. Perform biometrics: anthropometry, body composition assessment, and vital signs at each visit as per clinic protocols. Shadow specialist consultations to understand the diagnosis and care plan and align followthrough accordingly. Postconsultation counselling: explain the prescription and care plan in simple language and guide the client on next steps. Act as primary point of contact for nonprogram clients, with regular followups to ensure implementation of the care plan. Monitor compliance: track adherence to medications, nutrition, activity, and other lifestyle prescriptions; identify barriers and provide solutions. Program orientation: when indicated, explain appropriate programs, their benefits, structure, and pricing, and facilitate enrolment. Prescribe lifestyle interventions (activity, exercise, basic habits) as per clinic protocols and under guidance of the Medical Director. Administer therapies as per clinic norms and within scope of practice and training. Act as medical liaison between the client and external consultants, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/clinic systems as per SOPs. Handle escalations from clients, coordinate with the team, and support resolution in line with clinical and business priorities. Collect feedback and nudge clients to share reviews on Google and social media after milestones or program completion. Participate in internal meetings (clinical reviews, operations, performance reviews) and contribute to process improvement and goal achievement. Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by the company related to patient care and clinic operations. Requirements Education: BAMS or MBBS from a recognised university. Experience: 03 years of clinical experience (freshers with strong interest in lifestyle / metabolic / sports medicine may be considered). Clinical skills: Strong history taking, basic examination, and documentation skills. Comfortable with ordering basic investigations and interpreting common reports under supervision. Ability to counsel patients on lifestyle, adherence, and longterm care. Behavioral & soft skills: Patientcentric attitude, excellent communication in English and local language. High ownership of followup and compliance, proactive in reminders and checkins. Comfort working in a structured, protocoldriven, dataoriented environment. Willingness to learn sports medicine, metabolic health, and integrated care models. Other: Based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru. Comfortable with clinic timings, weekend or extended hours as per roster. Basic comfort with EMR/clinic software, spreadsheets, and communication tools (email, WhatsApp, etc.). Benefits Compensation: Annual CTC in the range of 5,00,000 7,00,000, based on qualifications, skills, and interview performance.
