Overview:
We are hiring an Engineer – Production for the shipbuilding industry. The role involves handling production activities related to new construction and repair projects, along with planning, coordination, and execution to meet project timelines and technical requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle production activities related to ship new construction and repair projects.
Plan and schedule production activities to meet project deadline.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
Work closely with team members and subcontractors on technical matters.
Assist in resolving technical issues and support design-related solutions.
Ensure scopes of service/supply and delivery schedules align with project requirements.
Maintain production-related documentation and reports.
Job Requirements:
Qualification: Graduate Engineer or Diploma holder in Shipbuilding Technology or Structural Fabrication Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in shipbuilding and/or ship repair projects.
Good knowledge of shipbuilding production processes for new construction and repairs.
Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and ERP/SAP systems.
Good communication and coordination skills.
