Opportunity to go client-side and work on a Grade-A commercial asset. Based on site at a circa 10,000 Sq M asset in the CBD. Salary circa $100,000 - $120,000 Inclusive of Super. A specialist investment and asset management business who focuses on acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality real estate across key urban locations is looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their Sydney team.

You will be based onsite assisting with the management of a circa 10,000 Sq M commercial office luxury asset which has been redeveloped.
This is a great opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator or Assistant Facilities Manager to work directly with a Senior Facilities Manager client-side.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with the implementation and oversee daily operations, including all aspects of programmed maintenance, reactive maintenance, and compliance. Manage work orders and tax invoice processing in accordance with delegated authority. Maintain strong tenant relationships through regular formal and informal meetings, as well as other forms of communication. Foster contractor relationships through regular formal and informal meetings and ongoing communication. Conduct inspections for this asset, reporting any issues or defects to the property manager or asset manager as needed. Assist in the review, assessment, and recommendation of documents related to the portfolio, as well as property acquisitions on an as-needed basis. Assist with the sourcing of costing information and the completion of works associated with report recommendations from external consultants. Assist with the sourcing of costing information and the implementation of sustainability projects. Qualifications: Diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Construction, Operations Management, or a related educational course. Relevant industry experience in facilities management, services maintenance, operations management, and relationship management. Qualifications or practical experience in OH&S and building compliance will be highly regarded. Familiarity with HSE&S and other risk management regulations. Understanding of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
