Financial reporting & control: manage the collection, reporting, and control of company financial statements, including ongoing monitoring of accounts.
Statutory & tax compliance: assist in the preparation of annual statutory reports and collaborate with external tax advisors to prepare and edit tax reports.
Audit coordination: work alongside external auditors, preparing analytical reviews and managing interfaces with accountants and various authorities.
Regulatory reporting: perform periodic reporting to regulatory bodies, including the Bank of Israel, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Israel Innovation Authority.
Internal advisory: centralize accounting issues and provide professional guidance to employees and management in accordance with company procedures and accounting standards.
Operational support: oversee customer credit control and manage the company’s insurance systems.
Basic Requirements
Certification: certified CPA after completing an internship at one of the Big 4 firms – Mandatory.
Experience: at least two years of relevant professional experience.
Professional knowledge: Strong understanding of Balance Sheets and P&L, with familiarity in corporate taxation, income tax laws, VAT, and Social Security regulations.
Standards: experience and strong proficiency in international accounting reporting standards.
Technical skills: high proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ORACLE is a significant advantage.
Soft skills: high analytical ability, organized, responsible, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Work environment: ability to work in a dynamic environment under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Languages: English at a high level.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in auditing public companies.
Proven ability to promote and drive projects.
