At Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns we have a rare opportunity for an Assistant Financial Controller to join our Executive Team and Finance department.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the overall supervision of the Finance Department, ensuring that all adopted policies and procedures are complied with in accordance with Shangri-La standards.

• To ensure the smooth and effective execution of daily work routines, leading to a well‑organised month‑end closing process and the timely preparation of precise financial statements and reports.
• Implement a continuous system of internal checks and audits to detect and rectify any irregularities or weaknesses in systems and procedures.
