Reporting To: Foam Production Manager
Job Summary:
The Assistant Foam Production Manager supports the Foam Production Manager in overseeing daily operations of the foam production line, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. The role involves supervising workers, monitoring production schedules, managing raw materials, and assisting in implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, organizing, and controlling foam production operations to meet daily targets.
Supervise foam production workers and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Monitor the use of raw materials and coordinate with the warehouse for timely supply.
Assist in training and coaching production staff.
Identify issues in the production process and recommend improvements.
Ensure machines and equipment are maintained and operating efficiently.
Work closely with Quality Control to ensure products meet company standards.
Report production data, downtimes, and any discrepancies to the Production Manager.
Support the Foam Production Manager in implementing health and safety policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical diploma or degree in industrial engineering, or related field (preferred).
1+ years of experience in a foam production or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with foam production machinery and chemicals.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting.
