About The Role
The in‑house counsel performs a critical function as an integral member of the AIG Mexico and LAC Legal Department. The individual will provide critical legal and regulatory support, primarily in relation to transactional, legal, regulatory and compliance matters, as AIG offers products, services, and pursues new business opportunities.
Specific Duties Include Providing Legal Support With Regard To
- Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing insurance policies, contracts, endorsements, marketing material, and other ancillary documents.
- Providing legal advice on legal and regulatory matters (in Spanish and English).
- Interacting with the regulator to support the filing and approval of products of all lines of business.
