Overview The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager with a continual focus on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and developing employees, while maintaining the integrity of the hotel. Responsibilities Assist in hotel sales efforts. Tour the operating departments daily making adjustments as needed via department heads. Assist in conducting weekly staff meetings. Meet all financial review dates and corporate dictated programs in a timely fashion. Ensure that all department heads maintain budgeted productivity levels. Develop managers for future advancement through training programs. Participate in required M.O.D. coverage as scheduled. Oversee and assist in the budget process.
