- Job Title: AGM - Stowage & Vessel Planning
- Location: Mumbai/Chennai, India (On-site)
- Salary: INR 45,00,000 LPA to 55,00.000 LPA + Benefits
Key Requirements:
- Season professional in Stowage Planning and Vessel Operations & cost optimization experience from Shipping line organizations only
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
- At least 12+ years of experience in vessel operations, stowage planning, marine operations, handled live vessels and related operational shipping functions.
- Person should be willing to travel to Dubai, Singapore & Hong Kong on monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own live vessel operations across services and trades
- Oversee and approve stowage plans ensuring vessel stability, safety, DG compliance, and optimal utilization
- Coordinate with Masters, terminals, and regional operations for smooth port calls
- Manage operational disruptions (delays, congestion, weather, port issues)
- Optimize vessel-related costs (port costs, re-handling, restows, bunker impact)
- Lead and guide vessel planners and stowage planning teams
- Act as escalation point for operational and stowage-related decisions
