Assistant Grain Merchant

Our client is a well-established Ontario-based grain trading, handling, and export company with multiple operations across the province. The business merchandises corn, soybeans, and wheat, with a specialized Identity Preserved (IP) soybean program supplying premium export markets. As part of continued growth, they are hiring an Assistant Grain Merchant to support the procurement, export sales execution, and risk management associated with the company’s IP soybean portfolio.

Reporting to Commercial Leadership, you will:

• Source and contract Identity Preserved (IP) soybeans from producers and elevators across Ontario.
• Build and maintain grower relationships to secure consistent quality and volumes.
• Negotiate purchase contracts aligned with market conditions and program requirements.
