Job Description
- Assists the HRM managing human resources operations;
- Assists the HRM to handle labor relations with the local UFCW, administration of the collective bargaining agreement and the grievance process;
- Provide facility supervision with advice and counsel on personnel issues;
- Assists the HRM to administrate unemployment claims and attend unemployment hearings
- Ensure regulatory compliance;
- Stay current on recent Federal, Provincial and case law changes and monitor labor regulations updates for changes that affect Human Resources;
- Assists the HRM to propose, publish and administer personnel policies;
- Assists the HRM to process and implement formal disciplinary action of employees, initiate termination procedures and put into action as needed;
- Prepare and maintain records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data;
