Assistant Kitchen Department Head Trainee

Overview

Reporting to the Kitchen Department Head, the Kitchen Assistant Department Head provides hands on support to the Kitchen DH in the department’s daily operation and management to ensure that it is functioning under good conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers by providing good customer service with smile, friendly enthusiasm
• Provides hands on support and assistance to the Department Head in the following aspects: (a) Manage department performance and attainment departmental goals (b) Manage and supervise department daily operation and staff performance (c) Provide coaching, on-the-job training, shadowing, guidance to department staff (d) Supervise Kitchen Assistants, ensure fair distribution of work and daily checklists are strictly executed (e) Promoting teamwork and create an inclusive working environment
