The Assistant Leading Hand is responsible for assisting the shift Leading Hand to oversee all activities and persons within the production hall. He/she directly reports to the shift Leading Hand and works closely with and is accountable to the Site Quality Officer.
Hours of Work
07:00 to 15:00, Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Assigning and coordinating tasks for the shift production team.
- Machine operation—ensure machines operate efficiently and produce conforming product.
- Conduct product testing and make necessary process adjustments when testing indicates required changes.
- Perform all operations in compliance with WHS requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements.
- Maintain quality standards in all operations.
