About the job Assistant Manager Accounting (Contract, Montreal, Bilingual)
Our client located in Montreal is looking for Assistant Manager Accounting. This is a contract position. Hours: Full time- 40 hours/week. On site at least once a week. CPA is mandatory.
Language: English / French (Fluent in English, Working proficiency in French)
Skill-set:
- Comfortable in accounting systems (Sage 300 is used)
- Experience with manufacturing company
- Month end experience
- Posting / reviewing journal entries
- Creation and review of financial statements
- Overall understanding of accounting month-end processes (a/r, a/p, ppe, investments, inventory, etc.)
- Assessing need for provisions/reserves
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle
- Overseeing a/r invoicing and revenue recognition
