About AMPIN Solar One

AMPIN Solar One Private Limited is a Joint Venture between AMPIN Energy Transition and Jupiter International Limited , established for setting up a greenfield manufacturing facility with an annual capacity of 1.2 GW of solar cells and 1.6 GW of solar modules. The facility, located at Odisha, will be part of the PLI Tranche–II Scheme of the Government of India.


Role Summary

The Assistant Manager – Commercial will support execution of commercial strategies for the solar cell and module verticals , working closely with R&D, manufacturing and cross-functional teams. The role involves techno-commercial evaluations, supplier coordination, contract support, procurement optimization and tracking market and policy developments to enable cost-effective and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute commercial strategies for solar cell and module verticals , aligned with business objectives, revenue targets, and profitability goals (P&L ownership).
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and production teams to align commercial models with evolving technologies and product roadmaps.
  • Lead techno-commercial BOM evaluations and drive procurement strategies supporting cost optimization, lean inventory, and JIT delivery .
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with global and domestic suppliers , including negotiation and closure of high-value contracts.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution, contract governance, credit control, and compliance.
  • Monitor market trends, policy, and regulatory changes , identify new business opportunities, and mitigate commercial risks proactively.


Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Tech /B.E. with MBA (Marketing /Operations /Finance).
  • 10– 15years of experience in manufacturing industries, with at least 3 years in a commercial role in solar PV or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of solar technologies (PERC, TOPCon), policy frameworks, and global supply chains.
