Job Description
Prepare cost estimations, project budgets, and cash flow forecasts based on preliminary or detailed designs.
Manage pre-contract activities including tender preparation, cost planning, quantity take-off, budget estimation, and post-contract activities such as site valuation, preparation of progress certificates, variation orders, final accounts, procurement, and monitoring of material and construction costs.
Source and evaluate subcontractors/suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing.
Review specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, costing structures, and contractual requirements; prepare Letters of Award for subcontractors.
Conduct site valuations, prepare progress claims to main contractors/clients, and evaluate subcontractor claims and payment certificates.
Monitor budgets and enforce effective cost control measures.
