Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities
+ Month-End Close Support:Perform and review monthly closing activities for the Controlling (CO) module in SAP along with team members.
+ Inventory Valuation:Prepare & Review detailed monthly/quarterly workings for Inventory Obsolescence and Revaluation, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
+ Standard Costing:Execute the annual review and preparatory activities for the Standard Cost roll-up in SAP based on approved budgets.
+ Profitability Analysis:Prepare and submit detailed monthly reports, including Division Reports, Margin Reconciliation, and Direct Labor/Indirect Labor Variance (DL/ILV) analysis
+ Performance Reporting:Compile, review, and ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports, includingDivision Reports, Margin Reconciliation, and Variance Analysis(DL/ILV).
+ Budgeting Support:Prepare the detailed workings and supporting files for the Fixed Cost & Variable Cost budget submissions along with team
+ New product VC calculations:Calculation & review of Variable Cost and provide detailed cost breakup analysis to the R&D team/operations for new product evaluation and review.
+ Statutory & Cost Audit:Lead the preparation of all cost schedules and notes for both Statutory and Cost Audits, coordinating directly with external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion.
+ SAP Master Data:Oversee the review and update of Material Master data in SAP for Raw Materials and Semi-finished Goods to ensure costing accuracy.
+ Physical Verification:Lead the coordination and execution of quarterly and annual Physical Inventory Verification.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Experience-4-6 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting/Controlling.
Qualification-Post-qualification experience, ideally a Cost and Management Accountant (ICWA/CMA) or equivalent.
Technical Proficiency-Strong hands-on experience in a SAP environment (CO/MM modules) and excellent understanding of controlling processes.
Soft Skills-Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to effectively handle multiple demands and strict deadlines.
Communication-Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with department heads and supporting auditors.
