Job Description:

Job Function:

• Engineering Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and manage an Electrical/Electronics Engineering team to successfully execute project objectives.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and continuous training to build a high-performing engineering workforce.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure team competency and growth.
• Failure Analysis, Testing & Validation:
  • Direct the team in performing detailed failure analysis, functional testing, and product validation activities for electronic products.
  • Ensure delivery of accurate, high-quality technical reports with clear findings and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and execute Design of Experiments (DoE) to support root-cause identification and problem resolution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and customer support—to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Interface with customers and vendors to communicate technical status, discuss issues, and align on corrective actions.
• Technical Training & Documentation:
  • Train engineering team members to develop strong understanding of product design principles, schematics, and component datasheets.
  • Lead the creation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation and guidelines to support mass production readiness.
• Process Development & DOE System Management:
  • Develop and maintain offline DoE station overlays, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and ongoing operational reliability.
• Yield Improvement & Quality Enhancement:
  • Drive yield improvement initiatives through systematic root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor production quality trends and guide the team in optimizing processes for improved product reliability.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

• Strong foundation in electronics engineering , with solid knowledge of consumer electronics, power supplies, and overall electronic product functionality.
• Extensive hands-on experience with EE test equipment , including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), logic analyzers, power analyzers, and related diagnostic tools.
• Proficient in industry-standard communication protocols , such as  SPI, SPMI, UART, USB, and others.
• Skilled in debugging and testing across multiple domains, including:
  • CPU/SoC systems.
  • Power systems (DC-DC converters, batteries, power management, low-power design).
  • Analog circuit design.
  • Audio, camera, display, wireless modules, and sensor subsystems.
• Strong communication skills in English , with Chinese proficiency preferred for cross-regional collaboration.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Excellent FA capability to deal with complex issues.
• Experience with some advanced equipment, including TDR, LiT, EDS/SEM, etc.
• Firmware, programming, and Python skills.
• Experience in electronic hardware-related design is a plus.
• Engineer team management experience is a plus.
