Assistant Manager, Global Vessel Operations

Roles and Responsibilities
Be assigned to one of the teams under Global Vessel Operations to gain hands-on experience, including weather routing, stowage planning support, schedule planning, and vessel operations coordination
Support the global routing advisory, stowage planning, and vessel micro-management teams and train operations staff to strengthen their marine-related knowledge and provide ongoing technical support
Create and distribute general sailing instructions and other essential circulars to vessels
Assess and approve port calls for newly chartered vessels
Provide marine assistance in the event of emergencies or incidents involving vessels in the fleet
Conduct vessel visits and work closely with Masters to enhance operational efficiency
Assist in the development and review of newbuilding specifications
Requirements
Minimum qualification of 2nd Mate Certificate of Competency (CoC)
Sailing experience on container vessels
