Assistant Manager / Senior Sales Engineer – Industrial Sales (Heat Treatment Oils)

Location: Delhi
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports To: Regional/Business Head

Role Overview:  We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager / Senior Sales Engineer to drive industrial sales for Heat Treatment Oils, Quenching Oils, and Industrial Lubricants across North India. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding, experience in B2B industrial sales, and the ability to manage OEMs, heat-treatment facilities, and manufacturing customers.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, target, and acquire new customers in heat treatment, forging, auto-components, and furnace OEM sectors .

  • Manage sales of heat treatment oils, quenching oils, industrial oils, and lubricants .

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and commercial offers.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, furnace manufacturers, heat-treatment service providers, and industrial clients .

  • Conduct regular customer visits, product demos, and technical discussions.

  • Maintain customer database, sales pipeline, and visit reports.

Technical Support & Coordination

  • Understand and explain product features, benefits, and applications related to heat treatment processes.

  • Coordinate with internal technical, R&D, and product support teams for trials, issues, and customer requirements.

  • Support customers in product selection, usage recommendations, and performance improvements.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor activities, market trends, and new opportunities.

  • Provide insights to Product/Marketing teams for product development and improvement.

  • Prepare MIS reports, monthly sales forecasts, and performance reviews.

Travel: Willingness to travel across Delhi/NCR and Pan-India as per customer requirements.

3. Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering preferred

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Production with strong sales background can be considered.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in Industrial / Technical Sales.

  • Mandatory experience in industrial lubricants, heat treatment oils, quenching oils, MWF, industrial consumables OR furnace/heat treatment-related solutions .

  • Experience dealing with OEMs, heat-treatment shops, forging units, and manufacturing industries is highly desirable.

Skills

  • Good understanding of heat treatment processes and industrial lubrication.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools .

  • Ability to work independently and manage large territories.
