Assistant Manager International Freight

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Partner Management

• Identify and onboard new channel and delivery partners.
• Maintain relationships with key customers and prospects.
• Source competitive air and ocean freight rates from vendors.
• Respond to pricing queries and monitor competitor rates.

Operations & Documentation

• Handle complete international air and ocean shipments.
• Prepare shipping documents (Airway Bills, Bills of Lading, invoices).
• Coordinate with carriers, agents, customs brokers, pickup, and delivery.
• Support customs clearance and track shipments.
• Resolve shipment issues such as delays, claims, or returns.

Financial & Margin Control

• Monitor shipment costs, revenue, and margins.
• Escalate low-margin shipments (<10%) for approval.
