Assistant Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail oriented professional to join our Materials Dept. The candidate will be responsible for managing end to end import procurement operation, and contributing to the company’s global growth strategy.

Qualification & Experience:

Education: B.Tech /MBA having 4 – 6 years of experience; Graduate/Post Graduate having 8 – 10 years of experience

Technical proficiency: Strong command of MS Office and SAP MM

Desired Skills:

Knowledge and experience of Import procurement ( PR TO PO AND PAY PROCESS – SAP MM MODULE)

Knowledge and experience of Customs Clearance and International freight forwarding

Knowledge of Inventory Control

Knowledge of MIGO,MIRO, MOVEMENT TYPE, TRANSFER ORDER IN SAP

Purchase experience in engineering and industrial DI pipe consumable import and domestic item

Key Responsibilities:

Timely floating enquiries for procurement of import items as per production plan and receive indent.

Timely offer collection, preparation of CS and creation of PO, Contract, Service WO in SAP.

Release of vendor payment as PO terms and follow up for delivery with shipper of pending order.

Coordination with plant user, account dept, store dept, supplier, freight forwarder and CHA for day to day operation for on time delivery as per schedule.

Preparation and daily update of MIS as like Stock Report, Transit Stock, Pending Order ,Pending Advances, EPCG report, EPR report, EU report and etc as required.
