Assistant Manager – Material Planning

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains reports relating to process, product and operation on-time performance. Advises management when on-time order delivery is in jeopardy.
• Serve as an escalation point with Material Planners when planners are not able to resolve issues effectively.
• Analyze material and capacity availability to provide customer promise dates for sales orders.
• Manages material planning activity to ensure timely delivery of material to support production operations.
• Expedite deliveries to meet and exceed scheduled critical requirements.
• Assist Department Head to lead and motivate planner to deliver quality work.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree and management experience with 5+ years minimum planner/buyer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software/programs as opportunities or department needs arise....
