Assistant Manager - Panel Design (Electrical)

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE:               Sr. Engineer

DEPARTMENT:                   Design - Electrical

REPORTS TO:                    Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION: Design of LT & HT Panel

Experience: Min 4 Years Industrial experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Deep knowledge of IEC & IS standards,
• Experience in designing of customized control panel LT/HT
• Working knowledge of CAD software, MS office, SAP
• Confident & smart enough to deal with customer during meetings & approval process.
• Vibrant enough to trouble shoot problems at site or support cross-functional teams

Roles AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete Master SLD for cluster of DGs in the system
• Design & Development of General Arrangement (GA) diagram, SLD & Power & Control schematics of panels for DG Sync panel.
• Preparation & float RFQ for HT panels for HT DG sets.
• Validation of HT panel drawings of vendors.
• Preparation of complete network architecture of SCADA.
• Selection of PLC & preparation of PLC panels per system requirement.
• Preparation of cable schedule.
• Calculations like short circuit calculation, Knee point voltage calculation, Busbar calculation, Earthing calculation, power sizing calculation, NGR calculation.
