Main Responsibilities

  • Sourcing expertise & experience in CDMO/CMC/Chemistry/Toxicology.
  • Exposure to import of specialty chemicals from China.
  • Experience on cost sheets related to projects.
  • Experience in import and its related formalities to ensure timely clearances and delivery of imported Goods. (Chemical/consumables)
  • Procuring the chemicals, solvents, consumables etc and ensuring the timely delivery.
  • Procurement of Analytical columns, Biologicals & Consumables.
  • Weekly delivery status needs to send for stakeholders.
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
  • Rate contracting of all Opex related requirements.
  • To arrange for vendor approval after obtaining of duly filled in vendor questionnaire.
  • Ensure timely, cost effective and high-quality materials adhering to all purchase policies and regulatory guidelines.

    • Competencies

  • Proven working experience in Biopharma industry.
  • Maintain good relationship with team members.
  • Comfortable and has worked in different industries and segments especially large MNCs and proprietor driven organizations.
  • Candidate who know ordering of chemicals from Import and domestic regions.
  • Exposure to techniques of negotiation
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
  • Working experience of vendor management software like Coupa is mandatory.
  • Has had lateral movements cross Industry.
