Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take lead in the design reviews in the product development process, including the understanding of customer requirements and mapping to CTQ (critical to quality) design features.

  • Work closely with CFT (cross-functional team) to scrutinize design concepts for cost, lead time, quality, standardization, supply assurance, and compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.

  • Assist the new product development team with rapid prototyping techniques, testing and validation of proto samples.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that product meets customer specifications.

  • Work with the manufacturing department to ensure that the product designs are optimized for manufacturability and assembly.
