Assistant Manager - Route Navigation Services & Projects

Job Description -Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a detailed understanding on all regulations impacting Flight planning and Flight dispatch procedures.
2. Maintain flight planning database with aircraft induction, Company routes etc.
3. Be conversant with NATS, Euro control Ops, PACOTs flight planning procedures.
4. Maintain detailed understanding of technological advancement in flight planning solutions and Electronic Flight Folder (EFF).
5. Suggest advancements to Flight Planning software for Automation of redundant tasks.
6. Administration of Electronic Flight Folder (EFF) settings/database.
7. Suggest cost saving best practises in flight operations and flight dispatch.
8. Assist the team for AIP and NOTAM monitoring.
9. Perform any other tasks assigned by reporting Manager. 

Required Qualifications:

1. Minimum 05 years of experience in an Aviation/Airline Flight Operations related position- Flight Dispatcher/ Performance Engineer/ Air Traffic Controller.
2. Knowledge and understanding of AIM publications (AIPs & NOTAMs)
3. Knowledge in aviation topics including - Airspace Communication Navigation and Surveillance requirements, Flight planning, Air Traffic Services, Aerodrome operations and Aircraft performance.
4. In depth Understanding of ICAO, EASA, FAA & DGCA flight planning regulations 
5. Basic understanding of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and related regulations
6. Understanding of Current and emerging Avionics technologies in an operational context

Preferred Qualifications:

1. IT background preferred.
2. Experience on multiple flight planning solutions would be an added advantage.
