Job Description

The Underwriting Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the underwriting team in the assessment and approval of group insurance policies. This role involves analyzing risks, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines, and assisting in the development of underwriting strategies to optimize profitability and growth in the Singapore group insurance market.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the evaluation and underwriting of group insurance proposals, ensuring accurate risk assessment
Review policy applications, supporting documents, and actuarial data to make informed underwriting decisions.
Collaborate with sales, brokers, and clients to clarify underwriting requirements and risk profiles.
Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
