This role requires a professional who can take full ownership of the product range, understand fashion and leather trends, and drive the division’s growth through effective planning, coordination, and execution.

Job Title: Assistant Merchandiser – Lifestyle (Leather Bags & Accessories)

Job Designation: Assistant Merchandiser

Base Location: Noida/ Dehradun Language: Hindi, English

Salary Range: CTC- 5 – 7 Lakhs

Experience: 5- 6 years of experience as an Assistant Merchandiser in Lifestyle category with a good industry connects.

Reporting To: Managing Director & Group Vice President

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design and Leather


Job Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and manage the product line of leather bags and accessories in alignment with market trends and brand positioning.  
  • Work closely with the design, sampling, and production teams to ensure timely development and execution of collections.  
  • Source and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for raw materials, trims, and accessories, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.  
  • Prepare and monitor product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis. Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure the right product placement and timely delivery.  
  • Analyse market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to plan future collections.  
  • Create and manage the merchandise calendar, ensuring smooth workflow from sampling to final production.  
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and brand aesthetics.  
  • Maintain regular reports on sales performance, inventory, and product lifecycle.
  • Contribute strategic inputs to build and scale the new Lifestyle division.


Key Skills & Competencies:  

  • Strong understanding of leather products, fashion trends, and merchandising processes.  
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and creative approach to problem-solving.  
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.  
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, costing sheets, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with a good sense of aesthetics and market understanding
