Job Description
The Assistant Print Operator supports the Press Operator in setting up, running, and maintaining printing presses to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, ideal for someone mechanically inclined who is eager to learn the printing trade and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with press setup, including loading materials, mixing inks, and mounting plates.
Monitor press operations and assist with quality checks throughout the run.
Support changeovers, cleanups, and maintenance of press equipment.
Ensure materials, substrates, and inks are available and organized for each job.
Help maintain accurate production records and job documentation.
Follow all safety and quality procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
