Job Title: Assistant Manager Production- Biotech
Job Location : Dahej
This vacancy is for our Client who is manufacturing Surfactants and Speciality Chemical.
Role And Responsibility
1. Successfully led the development, scale-up and fermentation production of microbial products.
2. Run a fermentation-based manufacturing plant with maximum productivity and minimal breakdown.
3. Improve technical capabilities and quality practices within the department
4. Supervise, mentor and provide necessary training for development of fermentation staff
5. Lead the execution, completion and review of manufacturing documentation including batch production records (BMR), quality system documents and reports and SAP operations
6. Serves as subject matter expert in multidisciplinary project teams and/or sub-team meetings within the company
7. Provide technical recommendations for evaluating process data, troubleshooting and root cause analysis as well as providing strategic recommendations leading to improved economics and process robustness
8. Support deviation investigations and identifying CAPAs to resolve manufacturing related issues
9. Broad use of expertise and knowledge to solve complex non-routine technical problems
10. Lead improvements in process and methods
11. Coordinate and facilitate communication across multi-disciplinary groups like Stores/Purchase for raw material planning and inventory control.
Experience : 3 - 7 years.
Salary Budget :- up to 7 L pa
Desired Education :
- B.Sc / M.Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology
- 5-8 years of fermentation production experience after M.Sc.
3. 10 years of fermentation production experience after B.Sc.
Skill :
1. Fermentation experience with a variety of bacterial organisms including aerobic and anaerobic microorganisms
2. Experience with upstream harvest processes including tangential flow filtration, depth filtration and centrifugation
3. Experience with single-use bioreactors is a plus.
