Assistant Production Manager

Basic Function

The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, efficiency, safety, and cost. This role assists in coordinating production activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with food safety and company standards while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily plant operations to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are followed.
• Support production planning, manpower allocation, and efficient use of materials and resources.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor production KPIs such as efficiency, yield, and downtime, and report findings to the Production Manager.
