Job Summary
The Assistant Professor in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) will be responsible for teaching, research, and extension activities in vegetable crops, contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate education, conducting quality research, and supporting institutional academic and outreach objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Develop and update course curricula in line with ICAR/UGC guidelines.
- Conduct practical classes, field demonstrations, and student evaluations.
- Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic projects and research work.

- Conduct original and applied research in vegetable science and allied areas.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals of national and international repute.
