The Department of Environmental Sciences (DES) at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor as part of the new faculty cluster: Advancing STEM Diversity in Environmental Engineering – Urban Environments, Health, Climate Change, and Environmental Justice (link ). The cluster is supported by the Faculty Diversity Hiring Initiative from the Office of the President.

As part of this initiative, an Assistant Professor is sought in the general area of Environmental Informatics with a focus on the use of sensor-enabled systems and/or the overlap in environmental health and justice impacts from shifts in the urban environment caused by climate change. This is an academic year appointment.
