Job Title Assistant Professor Division Divison of Academic Affairs Department Department of Sociology Position Category Faculty Faculty Rank Assistant Professor FLSA Exempt Pay Range Salary Range $65,000-75,000 Fund Source State Support Job Summary Candidate will teach course with a load as per Morgan contract; conduct research; advise students and serve of committees in the department. Job Duties 1. Teach four courses per semester.
2. Serve on at least one departmental committee
3. Submit at least one professional paper for publication annually
4. Present one paper at a professional conference annually
5. Serve as advisor for at lease 6 undergraduate students Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics Knowledge of sociological theory and practice.
