Position Summary:

Non-Tenure-Track Assistant Professor - Exercise Science/Athletic Training

Misericordia University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Exercise Science. We seek a dynamic educator and scholar with expertise in athletic training, sports medicine, and injury prevention to support undergraduate curriculum development and contribute to the university’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. This position also supports the department’s efforts toward CAAHEP accreditation. 

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching:
  • Teach 12 credit hours per semester in Exercise Science and Athletic Training courses.
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based curriculum aligned with CAAHEP standards.
  • Mentor undergraduate students in research and clinical experiences.
  • Maintain currency in athletic training practices and pedagogy.
