The Department of Physical Sciences in the Faculty of Arts and Science invites applications for an entry-level, full-time, tenure-track appointment in Chemistry, with a specialization in Inorganic Chemistry, at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2026, subject to final budgetary approval.

The Department of Physical Sciences includes faculty members specializing in Chemistry, Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Physics. The department fosters a strong culture of interdisciplinary collaboration in both teaching and research. With a team of over twenty full-time faculty members, the department offers majors in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, and Physical Sciences, along with minors in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Planetary Physics, and Physics.
