Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science (Cyber Forensics) to begin Fall 2026

This is a tenure-track 9-month faculty position (with reduced course load and a research start-up package). Primary duties will include teaching courses; serving as the lead faculty member in Cyber Forensics for the new Computer Science program; mentoring and advising students; developing innovative courses and establishing a state-of-the-art cyber forensics laboratory; collaborating with faculty to elevate the research profile of the School of Engineering. A reduced teaching load will be given and additional course buyouts may be given if tied to grant funding. A research start-up package will also be provided upon hire. Duties also include developing an externally funded research program; establishing a research lab that will serve as a hub for cutting-edge research, instruction, and collaboration with industry, government, and academic partners; and providing service to the School, college, and university.
