Job Description

• Assist in the conduct of operations research, technical/economic/environmental/business/regulatory impact assessments to determine transmission and distribution customer/system needs. Analyse problems and develop strategies and preferred solutions, and assist in the delivery of solutions through suppliers and service providers.
• Assist in the development, definition and preparation of programmes, processes, standards, procedures or methods related to the management of transmission/distribution assets. Review and define technical standards requirements for equipment on the transmission and distribution systems, maintenance programmes, work management systems, asset condition and defect reports, and develop and use database applications to monitor asset performance. Prepare comprehensive documentation and provide guidance to interested groups in the implementation of recommendations.
