Assistant Resident Engineer

Overview

The role involves working on projects associated with Sewerage and Stormwater, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks, Pumping Station, Recycling Plant and rehabilitation works. This will involve investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Technical Delivery: Interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
• Interacting with contractor, sub-contractor, and laboratory & monitoring construction work on a daily basis.
• Control the site inspection and testing and maintaining inspection reports and site test records.
• Prepare instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Review and approve design documents and construction plans and procedures.
• Perform civil and structural tests.
