Assistant Scientist

Job Description:

The Department of Physiology and Aging is seeking candidates for an Assistant Scientist to work in Dr. Huang Shuang's laboratory.

The Assistant Scientist will conduct routine and advanced research in cancer biology and experimental therapeutics. Research activities will involve in basic molecular and cell biology experiments (cell culture, subcloning, qPCR, etc), and in vivo tumorigenesis experiments (tumor implantation, treatment, live animal imaging). The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting experimental data, as well as preparing manuscripts.

Additional responsibilities include mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, collaborating with internal and external research partners, and maintaining lab safety protocols.
