Job Summary
The Assistant Storekeeper supports receiving, checking, labeling, and moving materials across stores, paint shops, and assembly, while maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires working in shifts and ensuring a safe, well‑organized area by following S+S and safety standards.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
Keep the receiving area clean, safe, and well-organized always.
Strictly adhere to and uphold S+S principles within the stores and receiving area.
Receive incoming materials from the truck using a forklift.
Unbox consignments and perform visual checks for quantity, quality, damage, or mismatches.
Label received materials accurately for traceability.
Hand over receiving documents to the Storekeeper for system entries.
Scan and file all receiving documents daily.
