Assistant Underwriter (School Leaver) – WA Underwriting Team
Looking to kick-start your career straight out of school? This is a great opportunity to join our WA Underwriting team as an Assistant Underwriter , where you’ll learn the fundamentals of insurance underwriting while being supported by experienced professionals.
This role is ideal for a school leaver who is curious, detail-oriented and keen to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. No prior underwriting experience is required — we’ll provide the training, support and exposure to help you grow.
What you’ll do
- Support underwriting of new business, renewals and mid-term alterations
- Review, assess and triage submissions in line with underwriting guidelines and delegated authority
- Provide underwriting, processing and administrative support to Underwriters
