Role purpose
Special Credit Unit (North America) operates within the 'Professional Services' operating model and deals with high risk credits (secured), extended to small businesses, middle market, large corporates as well as global banking customers in US.
The SCU officers manage/ co-manage a portfolio of criticized/classified or exit loan relationships including Commercial Real Estate, derivative products, and settlement limits alongside On-shore Senior SCU Managers catering primarily to the Mid Market, Large Corporate, Commercial Real Estate, Asset Based Lending and Global Banking segments. Objective is to reduce criticized, classified and/or non-performing assets to maximize the timely recovery of assets through collection and/or restructure, including rehabilitation and return to the line.
